BARA EDEN organic noni fruit

OUR STORY

From El Salvador to Canada

My name is Eva Castillo.

I was born in El Salvador and immigrated to Canada during the Salvadoran Civil War. Canada became my home, and today I am proud to be a Canadian citizen, but my connection to the country where I was born has always remained a part of me.

BARA EDEN is a bridge between those two homes.

I created BARA EDEN with a passion to share with my Canadian family some of the remarkable foods and plants from the land of my birth, beginning with noni.

Noni is a tropical fruit that has been valued for generations, and I am incredibly proud that BARA EDEN's journey begins by bringing noni juice grown and produced in El Salvador to Canada.

To me, this is more than importing a bottle of juice.

It is sharing a piece of where I came from.

It is an opportunity to introduce Canadians to a unique fruit from my homeland while celebrating the incredible variety of plants, fruits, herbs and foods that I believe God created with purpose.

And noni is only the beginning.

My vision for BARA EDEN is to continue discovering and sharing remarkable foods and wellness products from El Salvador and beyond, from noni juice to superfoods, herbs, and more.

We care about where our products come from, how they are produced, and the land and people behind them.

ROOTED IN EL SALVADOR

BARA EDEN begins at the source.

Our organic noni juice begins with noni fruit grown in El Salvador, where the tropical climate provides the environment in which this remarkable fruit thrives.

From cultivation and harvesting to processing and bottling, our goal is simple: to bring carefully sourced products from the earth to families in Canada while maintaining a close connection to their origin.

For us, knowing where our products come from matters.

Our products don't simply begin on a store shelf. Behind them are land, agriculture, people, tradition and purpose.

We believe responsible agriculture means caring not only about the finished product, but also about the land, natural resources, communities and people behind it.

Our roots in El Salvador are an important part of the BARA EDEN story. As we grow, we hope to continue building connections with producers and growers while introducing Canadians to more remarkable foods and plants from El Salvador and beyond, including superfoods, herbs and more.

BARA EDEN is about bringing those gifts from their source to your home, without forgetting where they came from.

GIVING BACK IS PART OF OUR FOUNDATION

Giving is built into BARA EDEN from the beginning.

My faith has taught me that what we receive should never be only about what we can keep.

Giving back isn't something BARA EDEN will begin doing someday when we're successful. It is part of the foundation on which this company is being built.

BARA EDEN is committed to giving 10% of its earnings to charitable causes.

And I want that commitment to be transparent.

Every month, we will share the charity, ministry, organization or cause that received BARA EDEN's contribution, so the people who support us can see where our giving went and discover some of the organizations doing meaningful work.

Our giving may help support families and children in need, provide food and essential resources, strengthen communities, support ministries, or contribute to other causes close to our mission.

As BARA EDEN grows, our ability to give grows with it.

Because success isn't simply about how much a company can earn. It's also about what we can do with what God has entrusted to us.

When you choose BARA EDEN, you're not simply purchasing a product. You're becoming part of something we hope will give back far beyond the bottle.

WHY BARA?

BARA comes from the Hebrew word בָּרָא (bara), meaning “created.”

The first time bara appears in Scripture is at the very beginning:

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”
Genesis 1:1

I chose BARA because it brings the glory back to God as the ultimate Creator.

God created the earth and everything within it. He created the plants, fruits, herbs, and foods that grow from the earth, and I believe these are gifts created with purpose.

BARA was born from a desire to rediscover and share some of those remarkable gifts of creation from noni juice and superfoods and herbs.

For me, BARA is more than a wellness brand. It is a reminder of where creation began and Who created it.

We don't worship the creation.
We give glory to the Creator!
